Awards of these traditional competitions challenged more than 130 wrestlers. As incentive for them monetary prizes — 60, 40 and 20 thousand rubles respectively for the first, second and third places served in each of eight scales.

Dagestan on tournament was represented by hasavyurtovets Ahmed Chakayev. To it wasn't equal in weight to 65 kg. It ahead of schedule coped with the Buryat and two Mongols, and in the final at the equal score 2:2 Mengi Mortuy-ool surpassed the Tuvinian acting for the Kemerovo region.

It should be noted that Ahmed Chakayev especially successfully speaks at presidential tournaments. So, before he won on R. Kadyrov's Cup Grozny three times.
