Monday, 03 March 2014, 09:18
Four Dagestan

A half of gold reserves of the Grand Prix "Alexander Medved" was won by the Dagestan wrestlers

On March 2, in categories to 61, 70, 86 and 125 kg the 44th tournament on prizes of the triple Olympic champion Alexander Medvedya came to the end with duels.

As we already reported, the day before out of competition there were two Dagestan legionaries of combined Belarus — Azamat Nurikov (65 kg) and Ali Shabanov (74 kg). The third gold medal as a part of owners was won today by Murad Gaydarov (86 kg). As well as on last year's tournament in Minsk, the 34-year-old veteran overcame in the final of the fellow countryman and the companion on the national team of Belarus Omargadzhi Magomedov. Thus, the record indicator on this Grand Prix was succeeded to improve Gaydarova, having brought it to eight victories.

In the same category to 86 kg the bronze prize-winner of the World Cup-2013 in weight to 74 kg Rasheed Kurbanov fought. The wrestler playing for Uzbekistan from Makhachkala after two prizes for an exit in a semi-final conceded in intense fight to the representative of Kazakhstan Aslan Kakhidze.

In weight to 70 kg wasn't equal to hasavyurtovets to Mahomed Gazimagomedov (on a photo) who for quite some time now represents Stavropol Krai. Mahomed fought surely in all fights, but especially impressed in a semi-final and in the final where ahead of schedule on points I understood according to Turk Yakup Gore and American Kevin Levale.

In weight to 61 kg the third place was taken by Magomedkhabib Kadimagomedov. The pupil of school of fight of K. Kuramagomedov won four fights, and only defeat in a quarterfinal from the resident of Yakutsk Nyurgun Scriabin deprived of it opportunity to apply for higher post on a pedestal.

The heavyweight Magomedgadzhi Nurasulov which almost all last year healed injuries, seemingly, finds former sportswear. The native of Makhachkala reached the final where conceded to Ukrainian Alexander Hotsyanovsky. "Before in a duel with the strong Kazakh Daulet Shabanbayem Magomedgadzhi I injured a foot and in the final I couldn't fight at full capacity — the senior trainer of the national team of Dagestan Gaidar Gaydarov told. — Nevertheless, he could and win if at the very beginning of the judge included a touch. As a whole performance of our heavyweight left good impression, and it pleases, especially taking into account that he after last year's problems with health long couldn't come to former level".
