The period for Yakutia became from February 21 to March 23 the real month of wrestling within which a series of tournaments on free-style wrestling, hapsagay and sambo will take place. About it reports WRESTRUS.RU

It began with the XV tournament on free-style wrestling among young men of 2001-03 of the birth on prizes of the Olympic champion Pavel Pinigin. Competitions collected record number of young athletes – over five hundred children. Traditionally Pavel Pinigin establishes on "nominal" tournament of the rule who allow participants to wrestling most productively. In addition, at these competitions weight loss is strictly forbidden. So Olympic champion shows care about health of young athletes. He stated more than once belief that there is nothing more harmful to a growing organism, and you shouldn't subject health of children to such stress for the sake of momentary results. As always, master classes from the most Olympic champion become the integral element of tournament.

On February 27-28 will pass championship of the republic in free-style wrestling among young men of 1997-98 of the birth. And on March 1-2 the staff of structural divisions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of RS(Ya) on a traditional open Cup on hapsagay will try force.

Then, on March 7-9 the largest sport center of the republic will accept the International tournament on free-style wrestling among juniors of memory of the Olympic champion Roman Dmitriyev first in the history of Yakutia among youth.  The president of the Republic of Sakha Egor Borisov, the president of FSBR, the Olympic champion Mikhail Mamiashvili, the head of the FILA Wrestling working group-2020 Georgy Bryusov and, of course, great wrestlers colleagues and Roman Dmitriyev's followers become guests of honor of tournament.

At once upon termination of a memorial of Dmitriyev, on March 10 in "Triumph" sambo wrestlers will gather for the championship of the republic. Their tournament will be devoted to memory of the known sports journalist Vyacheslav Stepanov.

And on March 15-16 all fans of free-style wrestling are waited by hot fights in the republic championship on N. N. Tarsky's prizes. Exactly in a week, on the same carpets the republic championship on hapsagay, devoted to the 75 anniversary since the birth of P.E. Alekseev — the triple champion of RSFSR, the numerous all-around champion of YaASSR on hapsagay and the very first honourable master of sports of the USSR among wrestlers wrestlers of the republic will take place.

"Month of wrestling is very important for promoting of our sport and will allow to check organizational possibilities of the Republic before holding the championship of Russia", - the free-style wrestling state coach of Yakutia Pyotr Yumshanov considers.  We will remind that the free-style wrestling championship of Russia will take place on June 19-22 in Yakutsk.  The capital of Yakutia will accept the strongest wrestlers of the country already for the third time for the last 15 years.

We will note that the championship of Russia and all tournaments within a Month of wrestling will take place in the largest sportcopmlex Yakutia - the Center of sports preparation "Triumph" which was constructed according to the Federal target program "Physical Culture and Sport Development in the Russian Federation for 2006-2015".
