The national team of Dagestan will act on the Russian Cup

On February 25-26 in Nalchik will pass a personal and command Russian Cup on free-style wrestling

Usually these competitions are held in the end of the year, but this time was decided to break tradition to date a country Cup for 70-year anniversary of the honored trainer of Russia, one of founders of free-style wrestling in Kabardino-Balkaria Mahomed Hanikov.

Competitions will take place in a habitual format: at first the teams broken into two groups, will sort out the relations with each other in match meetings on circular system, and then butt meetings following the results of which it becomes known will take place to whom will get an honourable trophy and what places other participants will take.

Winners in personal offset will be defined in final duels to which the wrestlers who most successfully have acted in match meetings for the teams will be allowed. Winners of the finals will acquire the right for participation in the championship of Russia.

he Dagestan team in Nalchik will be supported by Artem Gebekov (57 kg),  Imam Adzhiyev (61 kg), Haybula Shaalov (65 kg), Halil Aminov (70 kg), Kamal Malikov (74 kg), Dauren Kurugliyev (86 kg), Rasoul Magomedov (97 kg), Ramazan Magomedov (125 kg) and Ahmed Dzhalilov (65 kg, spare).

On the last year's Russian Cup passing in November in situated near Moscow Ramensk, the Dagestan team took the third place, and the honourable trophy then in the second time in a row was won by the wrestlers of Krasnoyarsk Krai who have won a final match meeting of rivals from the Moscow region.

In structure of the Dagestan team on the Russian Cup-2013 Kamal Malikov (74 kg) and Mahomed Shakhrudinov (84 kg), won first place in personal offset were best.
