From January 17 to January 19 in Khasavyurt passed championship of Dagestan in free-style wrestling among young men.

These competitions devoted to memory of tragicly lost president of federation of wrestling of Dagestan and the Minister of Finance of the republic of Gamid Gamidov, here are carried out some years in Sports palace which also bears a name of this eminent political person. This year awards of competitions and the permit to superiority of North Caucasus federal district in 11 weight categories challenged 365 young masters of a carpet.

The main fight by tradition was developed between pupils of two leading centers of this single combat in the republic – Makhachkala and Khasavyurt. If on Friday the owners of the carpet who have won all three medals of the highest test dominated, on Saturday only Uorovtsu Gajah Magomedov (120 kg) managed to fill up with gold a Khasavyurt moneybox of awards and at the same time to take a revenge from the Dynamo member Gamzat Israpilov for last year's defeat in the final. In other three categories capital wrestlers rose by the top step of a pedestal.

In final day again pupils of sport schools of Makhachkala who won three more gold awards were on the ball, having allowed to worm way into the company only to kayakentets to Dzhabrailu Shapiyev (76 kg).

In an informal team competition on total of awards young men from the capital of the republic, in which asset of 17 medals (6-4-7) took priority. Exactly as much awards and at owners of competitions, but hasavyurtovets conceded in quality (4-5-8) a little.

The best among sports schools, having won on 6 medals, there were Makhachkala "Dynamo" (2-1-3) and school of G. Gamidov (1-2-3). They are followed by Khasavyurt school of Sh. Umakhanov which representatives five times (1-2-2) ascended to the podium. On four awards on the account of young men of Khasavyurt UOR (2-1-1) and schools of M. Batyrov (1-1-2).

The wrestlers who have taken the first 6 places in each of 11 categories, received permits to superiority of North Caucasus federal district which will pass in the same Sports palace in the middle of February.

According to the head coach of the youthful national team of Dagestan Pakhrutdin Zalibekov, the structure of republican team will be strengthened by winners and prize-winners of superiority of the world, Europe and Russia who were exempted from these competitions.
