The ministry of sports and for youth stopped financing and payment of salaries to the defending champion of Europe on free-style wrestling Georgy Edisherashvili (55 kg) and to the heavyweight of the youth national team on Greco-Roman wrestling, the vice-champion of Europe of the 2012th year Levan Arabuli (120 kg).

We will remind that these athletes are accused of the dope use. The forbidden preparation was found in the samples taken at them on a past on November 8-11 in Moscow the Cup European nation.

Today the minister of sports Levan Kipiani met the president of national federation of wrestling Luka Kurtanidze, the chief physician of an Olympic team Zurab Kakhabrishvili and the chairman of anti-doping agency of Georgia Paliko Kasradze. After almost 2-hour meeting they held a joint press conference.

"In Georgia unenviable situation in the relation of a problem of a dope. For the last period some violations are recorded and for situation correction we declare cruel war to a problem. In a number of questions it is higher than our opportunities and therefore we solved, to include in business of Ministry of Health and internal affairs. It is necessary to create the special commission which will control availability of the forbidden preparations. From abroad these drugs come to us in most cases in the form of smuggling and do harm not only to indicators of the Georgian sports, but also image and that the most regrettable, to health of athletes. This such problem which has to be ripped in the bud that we avoided the heaviest results" – Levan Kipiani declared and right there announced one severe decision – the ministry won't finance any more those federations at which contracts with national anti-doping agency won't be issued.

According to the statement of the president of federation of wrestling, Edisherashvili and Arabuli accepted preparations self-willedally, by someone's council. Kurtanidze called the severe sanction of the ministry natural reaction that other athletes didn't have a temptation, to repeat the same.

"This precipitate step athletes first of all do harm to the health. Besides, they remain without income. And after all they have all conditions, honestly working, to live normally. On variety of a preparatory cycle, salaries, awards and encouragement Georgia is one of the leading countries" – Kurtanidze noted. As he said, in the future wrestlers will have more intensive relations with anti-doping agency and before each tournament will pass an internal doping test to exclude similar disappointments further.

Paliko Kasradze specified that the capture of doping tests will occur before the European championships and the world. Besides, the anti-doping agency also has one categorical requirement – in each federation there has to be one person who will be responsible for anti-doping activity.

Kasradze gave one interesting information. Edisherashvili and Arabuli received the forbidden preparation in one of the Tbilisi fitness centers, in that where the same preparations were transferred earlier to those to 7 Georgian athletes who also were involved in doping scandals.

Zurab Kakhabrishvili specified that it is a question of the fitness hall which was on Kayra Street. There are people who force them to do nonsense and it brings deplorable results. The preparation which as they thought, had to leave an organism in 25-30 days, was found by a doping test in 72 days. I want to warn once again disobedient athletes - let don't play with fire. If Edisherashvili and Arabuli in due time told what they accepted a bioadditive, I at all wouldn't let them on tournament to Russia and they would manage internal sanctions. I won't hide, there were some cases when we rescued athletes such way" – Kakhabrishvili declared.

The chief physician of an Olympic team with a special regret noted that in Georgia the dope problem first of all has to be solved in children's sports where the great number of nonprofessionals is ruined by the future of beginners and young athletes.

"Many clubs or specialists unfortunate make an inexcusable mistake. Main tragedy of the Georgian sports it. At teenagers destroy an organism and we have to solve first of all this problem" – Kakhabrishvili added.

And at last, again Kurtanidze's comment. The president of national federation of wrestling after all hopes that caught of the dope use the Georgian athletes will avoid 2-year disqualification and their punishment will be rather easy, however, considering statements of the head of anti-doping agency and the chief physician of an Olympic team, prerequisites for optimism don't exist.

However since November of the 2013th year disqualification already in force and Edisherashvili and Arabuli will return on a carpet, allegedly, only in the fall of the 2015th year.
