From South Ossetia where Kudukhov was born and spent the first years of the life, there arrived delegation headed by the president Leonid Tibilov. The leaders of the republic together with the head Taymuraz Mamsurov came to follow to the grave the known wrestler also. Speaking at memorial service, he called Besik Kudukhov one of the most outstanding wrestlers of the present, and his death — irreplaceable loss. "I couldn't but arrive to such unlucky day. We will always remember that, how many made this strong spirit of people for free-style wrestling not only our country, but also the whole world. At two Olympic Games it was all in a step from a gold pedestal. We believed in its new victories and knew that they surely will be" — Mamiashvili told.

Numerous telegrams with condolences athletes from Moscow, Krasnoyarsk, St. Petersburg and others sent the city of Russia and the world. At a mourning ceremony there were many people who personally weren't knowing Besik Kudukhov. Among participants of a funeral there were also absolutely little pupils of wrestling sections. Many remembered, what light, kind and cheerful person he was as responded on any request for the help. Besik Kudukhov's friends on command said that now don't know how to come to a hall and over again to start to train.

The head coach of national team Mahomed Guseynov called death of one of the best Russian wrestlers the big tragedy "for the Russian, Dagestan, Ossetian sports". "He was the successor of heroic acts of ancestors of Alania. It was the great wrestler of the present! It left an example for imitation young generations" — mister Guseynov told.

The head coach of combined North Ossetia on free-style wrestling Marik Tedeev told about what was Besik Kudukhov in life. According to him, it was a reference point for partners in the national team as all starts began with its performance. "The mood of team depended on it, after all he was our captain. He was very strong person! Throughout two last Olympic cycles Besik was a coalminer. I even can't present as we will be without it in team. As we will begin the trainings without it" — Tedeev spoke.

The head coach of the North Ossetia national team told about recent meeting before collecting at which Kudukhov addressed partners in team. "Collecting ended on Saturday. We with it agreed that he will address children to explain to them as it is necessary to work and behave. After meeting children who not still in life understand approached to me and said that Besik's words through passed through their hearts. The sports journalist Uruzmag Baskayev especially noted that Besik Kudukhov turned wrestling into a true art. Besik Kudukhov buried with all honors on the Walk of Fame in Vladikavkaz near the honored actress of Russia, the national actress of North Ossetia Irina Mistulova. And his friends for a long time silently stood round the grave which was buried in fresh flowers.
