In these days off in Buinaksk passed traditional tournament of memory of Patakh Kazimagomedov.

These republican competitions among the young men, bearing a name of one of founders of wrestling of the city, were for the first time carried out in 1987 far already at the initiative of the head горспорткомитета, the fan of wrestling Zaynulabid Medzhidov. For years of existence of "patakhovsky" tournament such stars of wrestling, as Buvaysar and Adam Saytiyevy, Hadzhimurad Magomedov, Bakhtiyar Akhmedov, Murad Gaydarov, Abdusalam Gadisov became his winners.

This time on two carpets of the Buinaksk sport school of the name Al-Klycha of Hasayev of 13 sets of awards of competitions challenged 326 children of 2001-2002 year of birth and is younger. They represented 15 teams from the cities and republic areas. On two structures exposed collectives from Buinaksk and the Buinaksk area.

The silver prize-winner of the Beijing Olympic Games Bakhtiyar Akhmedov, the founder of tournament, the adviser to the head of Buinaksk concerning physical culture and sports Zaynulabid Medzhidov, the director of sport school Zalimkhan Parangayev, veterans of sports, relatives and Patakh Kazimagomedov's friends took part in the opening ceremony of competitions.

Competitions caused a great interest among fans of free-style wrestling of the city who filled limited quantity of spectator places in a hall. The most part of fans, naturally, consisted of parents of participants. Among them there was also a mayor of Buinaksk Guseyn Gamzatov, whose son brought in a moneybox of team of owners a gold medal in category to 63 kg.

In total Buinaksk wrestlers won 3 awards of the highest test. The same quantity of the first places at Patakh Kazimagomedov's fellow countrymen — young wrestlers from the Hunzakhsky area. On two times young men rose by the top step of a pedestal from Gumbetovsky and Buinaksk areas. On one gold — at teams of territorial administration of education, Kizlyar and the Karabudakhkentsky area.

In informal offset on total of the won awards owners of a carpet, on which account of 11 medals (3-3-8) took priority. Young men from the Buinaksk area won 10 medals (2-2-6), 6 of awards — in an asset the karabudakhkentskikh of wrestlers (1-1-6).

With individual prizes are encouraged: "For the best equipment" — Karim Akayev (Buinaksk) and "For the will to win" — Mahomed Malachiyev (Hunzakhsky area). As the best wrestler of tournament Gadzhimurad Rustamov (Buinaksk) is recognized.

Winners of tournament became Mahomed Sungurbekov (24 kg, the Karabudakhkentsky area), Nazhmutdin Musayev (26 kg, Buinaksk), Nabigulla Astemirov (28 kg, the Gumbetovsky area), Ahmed Halidov (30 kg, Kizlyar), Mahomed Abdurakhmanov (32 kg, TUO), Karim Akayev (35 kg, the Buinaksk area), Alibek Alibekov (38 kg, the Hunzakhsky area), Salih Abdullaev (42 kg, the Buinaksk area), Ismail Kuramagomedov (46 kg, the Hunzakhsky area), Mahomed Astemirov (50 kg, the Gumbetovsky area), Gadzhimurad Rustamov (54 kg, Buinaksk), Mahomed Saidov (58 kg, the Hunzakhsky area) and Gamid Gamzatov (63 kg, Buinaksk).
