Yelgava at competitions was represented by fighters from Milons club, pupils of trainer Vladimir Smirnov.

In group of boys gold medals were won by Timofey Kalinenok (22 kg), Maxim Stasyuk (35 kg) and Osman Dzasezhev (42 kg).

In group of cadets the first place was taken by Edgar Batkovskis (58 kg). In the same weight category "silver" of Elgavsky edge sporting center Oleg Stasiv (trainer Ayvar Naglis). In weight category 69 kg "Milanese" Yuris Egl became the owner of "bronze". In group of cadets (girls) the gold medal was won by Diana Dzasezheva (46 kg).

335 athletes (61 commands) participated in the international tournament from 8 states - Finland, Sweden, Latvia, Estonia, Russia, Great Britain, Hungary and Canada.

In a team competition the Milons club took on tournament in Helsinki the 5th place, and Elgavsky edge sporting center - the 35th.
