These traditional free-style wrestling competitions in honor of the double Olympic champion in heavy weight were held for the first time in far 1978. This time they were devoted to the 90 anniversary of formation of the sport society "Dynamo" which was represented by Soslan Andiyev. At opening of tournament the movie about history of this sport society and prominent Ossetian athletes Dynamo members was shown. On the occasion of anniversary various awards were handed over to much of them.

Besides the well-known Ossetian veterans of sports on tournament it was possible to see and current known athletes, and among them — the Olympic champion and fivefold world champion Hadzhimurad Gatsalov, victor Games in London Alan Khugayev and the double prize-winner of Olympic Games and quadruple world champion Besik Kudukhova. The last came to a carpet, and its performance became the main bait for the audience. Many came to look only at Kudukhov, and it was possible to judge it on that after the ending with its participation on tribunes of "Arena" filled before under an outset emptiness were formed. Besik fighting in weight to 60 kg, didn't disappoint. In a decisive duel it ahead of schedule with the score 7:0 coped with resident of Yakutsk Nyurgun Skryabinin. And before Kudukhov won victories in four fights, however, his advantage in these duels was not so powerful, as in the ending to what results — 6:3, 7:4, 8:4, 8:4 testify. Let's remind that before this start Kudukhov came to a carpet only in the July championship of Russia in Krasnoyarsk where, having conceded in a semi-final to future world champion Bekhan Goygereev, as a result took the third place.

In three other categories today owners — Garik Barsegyan (55 kg), Stanislav Hachirov (74 kg) and Gergy Dzukayev (96 kg) became winners also. In total in the first day of andiyevsky tournament dispute for awards was conducted by 115 wrestlers.

For winners and prize-winners of tournament in each weight the bonus — 15, 10 and 5 thousand rubles are provided. But the main incentive for participants of tournament are cars — "Lada-Kalina" and "Zhiguli" 14th model. One of cars will be received by the winner in weight to 120 kg, and the second will be played on a lot among other six champions.
