In these days off in Khasavyurt will pass the 5th Intercontinental cup on free-style wrestling.

These representative competitions came in stead of tournament of memory passing throughout ten years of Shamil Umakhanov. The intercontinental cup reflected as team tournament, and three times its participants competed in the "wall on a wall" format, however from last year organizers were compelled to go for changes in regulations. Competitions became personal, however, thus following the results of tournament still the best team of tournament decides on delivery of the Cup by it for a victory. Transition to a new format of competitions was caused by that visitors of team were quite often completed by frankly weak wrestlers, and happened, as at all exposed incomplete structures.

The prize fund of tournament will be same, as well as last year. Winners of personal competitions will receive on 5 thousand dollars, the second and third prize-winners — 3 and 1 thousand respectively, and for trainers of champions are provided on thousands dollars prize-winning.

By tradition as the most numerous structure owners will act, on a carpet also there are wrestlers other regions of Russia. From representatives of the abroad already on tournament of profit of delegation from Poland and the USA, teams from Hungary, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus and Ukraine are expected also.

As before, duels of participants of the Intercontinental cup will pass on three carpets of Sports palace of G. Gamidov.
