Gold and silver medals won on Sunday in Yakutsk Shamil Akhmedov and Gadzhi Gadzhiev.

Hard it was necessary in the ending and to Shamil Akhmedov (96 kg) to whom the Ossetian legionary of the national team of Azerbaijan Aslanbek Alborov resisted. The wrestler from Kizilyurt who trains in the Khasavyurt UOR, won the first period with the score 3:0, but then only defended, conceded one point, but nevertheless managed to stand.

Probably, from Shamil many forces were taken away by semifinal fight. In it it met Georgian Elizbar Odikadze to whom in persistent opposition I lost on last year's final tournament of a series of the Golden Grand Prix in Baku. And this time their duel was rather intense and it came to the end with modest overweight of the Dagestan wrestler — 3:1.

In three other fights Akhmedov inflicted defeats Azreta Shovgenova (Kabardino-Balkaria) — 4:2, Heiko Gerry (Finland) — 8:0 and to Igor Ovsyannikov (Krasnoyarsk) — 8:0.

The third place in weight to 96 kg was taken by the Dagestan wrestler of the national team of Belarus Yusup Dzhalilov who in Budapest in interests of team spoke at the recent World Cup in category to 120 kg.

On Sunday medals in category to 60 kg also were played.  The Yakut wrestlers got three of them, but for local fans it was cold comfort as any of these medals wasn't the highest test.  "Gold" in this weight in the second time in a row went to Buryatia.  This time it was won by Damask steel Batoyev who last year borrowed echoing a place, having conceded in the ending to fellow countryman Alexander Bogomoyev.
