In Brovary took place the XVIII tournament memorial of lieutenant colonel Yury Ridchenko

On September 28-29 the Brovarsky school of physical culture brought together under the roof about three hundred wrestlers from all regions of Ukraine. To honor memory of the deserved trainer of Ukraine, masters of sports of the International class Yury Vyacheslavovich Ridchenk arrived from all corners of Ukraine.

"As the founder of tournament Yury Vyacheslavovich's son acted, he was supported by chairman Fonda of assistance to development of child youthful sports Igor Homenko. At first tournament took place in the city of Mironovka near Kiev, then in Kanev, subsequently moved to Brovary and years five was carried out in different halls. But then the decision to make tournament by more solid and to carry out already on the basis of brewing school of physical culture" was made - the deserved trainer of Ukraine Peter Mishiyev remembers.
