Yesterday in the Yerevan press club "Mirror" took place one more press conference with participation of wrestlers — participants of the recent World Cup in Budapest .

THIS TIME the VICE-PRESIDENT of the FEDERATION of WRESTLING of ARMENIA (FFA) Grant Enokyan and a trainer's staff of the national team COMMUNICATED TO JOURNALISTS for free-style wrestling in the person of head coach Arayik Bagdatyan and his assistant Ovsep Ovsepyan.

"All of us are very glad to David Safaryan's gold medal — A.Bagdatyan told. — In free-style wrestling we on world championships had no gold since 2002 therefore David's victory is especially expensive to us". The instructor shortly remembered performances of other members of the national team. Arthur Arakelyan (60 kg) took the 5th place, having won four victories. 21-year-old Grigor Grigoryan (74 kg) won two victories. Edgar Enokyan (96 kg) acted with the trauma not healed up to the end, and Migran Dzhaburyan (55 kg) in the first circle could do nothing with acting champion of Europe from Georgia. As for Musa Murtazaliyev (74 kg), he also acted a little unhealthy, nevertheless was very close to superiority medals.

Whether on a question "played a big role in David Safaryan's success that circumstance, what it passed the Russian school of wrestling? " Grant Enokyan answered that David started training in Armenia, and then moved to Russia, and the Armenian school of wrestling doesn't concede Russian, was so moved since the USSR. Arayik Bagdatyan noted that David often is in Armenia and participates in all collecting.

Until the end of the year the Armenian wrestlers plan to take part in several tournaments — in Dagestan, Chechnya and Ukraine. From November 8 to November 11 in Moscow will pass a Cup of the European nations "Moscow stars" where our national team will act generally as youth structure with the purpose to check the closest reserve of a national team. In the middle of December the championship of Armenia which venue isn't defined yet will take place.

The vice-president of FBA also reported that to Olympic Games of 2016 our country will apply for carrying out in Yerevan of the youth World Cup or Europe. Making comments on the decision the IOC that the number of weight categories will be reduced to 6, Bagdatyan told that a final decision, in what categories athletes will compete, it isn't accepted yet. It will happen in September, 2014, after the World Cup, and the decision will come into force in 2015.
