Today is celebrated birthday by legendary trainer George Burakov

In 1966 George Anatolyevich graduated from the Kiev State institute of physical culture. With 1969 on the 1983rd worked as the senior teacher of chair of wrestling of KGIFK. With 1983 on the 1992nd – the senior trainer of office of free-style wrestling of RShVSM of the city of Kiev. Trained the Olympic champion of 1976, the champion of Europe of the 1975th, the world champion 1975, 1977, 1978, the deserved master of sports Pavel Pinigin. In 1975 the rank the Deserved trainer of Ukraine and the USSR is appropriated to George Burakov. In 1976 received the Medal "for labor valour". With 1992 on the 1996th stayed at a position of the head coach of a national team of Ukraine on free-style wrestling. During its trainer's activity the national team took prizes in the World Cups and Europe. On Olympic Games of 1996 in Atlanta wrestlers wrestlers won 2 bronze medals.

With the 2001st George Anatolyevich took active part in preparation of a national team, in particular Elbrus Tedeev, to Olympic Games of the 2004th in Athens where our glorified athlete won a gold medal. And today years later, the President of ASBU Elbrus Tedeev, always with heat responds about the Senior trainer of the national team: "George Anatolyevich — the professional coach who prepared not only Pavel Pinigin, but also the whole group of known athletes. It in peak form, and God grant to it health that he could be engaged in trainer's work further. We always attract it that all educational and training collecting took place with its participation"

In the 2004th to numerous titles of the trainer the new honorary title "The honored worker of physical culture and sport" was added.

Today George Burakov still on a carpet, helps the national team to prepare for the World Cup. It is natural that the disputable decision the IOC couldn't but excite the person who devoted all the life to sports: "Nobody thought that the such can happen. Though preconditions for this purpose were. For a number of years the clumsy policy, inept changes in rules of competitions on wrestling was pursued. That negatively affected, both staginess, and on drawing attention to our sport.
