In some for days before the head of the republic Ramazan Abdulatipov dismissed the government. Today, on July 25, session of People's assembly of RD at which Abdulatipov suggested deputies to consider Gamidov's candidate on a post of the head of the government took place. Deputies agreed with this choice.

Abdusamad Gamidov was engaged in free-style wrestling, became the winner of junior superiority of the world, Europe and the World Cup, the bronze prize-winner of the USSR championship among adults. It is curious that the newly made head of the government acted in weight category to 82 kg, so many deputies participated today in his elections, having unanimously voted for his candidate.

Abdusamad Gamidov heads federation of wrestling of Dagestan, this position, as well as a post of the Minister of Finance of RD, passed to it after tragic death in 1996 of his big brother Gamid in honor of which the prospectus in Makhachkala, one of leading capital schools of wrestling and Sports palace in Khasavyurt is called.

It is interesting that at the head of republic parliament also there is the former wrestler — Hizri Shikhsaidov who, however, had no big achievements on a wrestling mat. It isn't indifferent to sports and Ramazan Abdulatipov, but he prefers to single combats volleyball which plays and until now.
