On July 4, 2013 with support of the Sumy regional federation of free-style wrestling and Belopolsky regional public administration in Belopolsky comprehensive school No. 1 two-day tournament on free-style wrestling "Friendship - 2013" began

About 100 athletes took part in tournament from the Sumy, Kharkov, Odessa areas and the Belgorod region the Russian Federation. Competitions took place in 3 age groups: 1996-1999, 2000-2003, 2004-2007 year of birth. Among participants - winners and prize-winners of the championships of Ukraine and Europe, many international tournaments. It is especially pleasant that in competitions took part the newly made champion of Europe on sumo wrestling among cadets Nikolay Grinchenko (v. Octiabrskoe) and silver prize-winner of the European championship resident of Sumy Yury Sitalo.

All present on a sports holiday were congratulated by the vice-chairman of Belopolsky regional public administration of Vita  Korniyenko. In the welcome speech of Vita  of Korniyenko noted: "Our edge is rich with sports traditions. In the territory of Bilopilshchina there began the way to big-time sports champions and prize-winners of Olympic Games, world champions and Europe. In recent years in the area, thanks to support and enthusiasm of trainers of the Sumy regional federation to free-style wrestling - Igor Ostapenko, Yury Goluba, such sport as free-style wrestling started developing. In 2007 the Sumy regional federation to free-style wrestling opened sports club "Sula" in Verkhosulk's village, 2010 - section of free-style wrestling  in v. Octiabrskoe.The taken prizes at regional, All-Ukrainian, international free-style wrestling competitions of our athletes became results of persistent trainings. So, our general task - to attract as much as possible children, youth, their parents in gyms, on sports grounds. Strengthening health, sports not only improves a body, but also spirit - cultivates courage, persistence on achievement of the purpose, tempers will. We have to cultivate in ourselves love to sports and a healthy lifestyle".
