Today at the Makhachkala airport solemnly met the Dagestan wrestlers — participants of University games in Kazan.

A day earlier at the airport with honors met the Dagestan boxers Radzhab Butayev and Mahomed Omarov who have won gold medals of the World student's games. Their fellow countrymen — wrestlers also made the contribution to successful performance on University games of the joint student's Russian national team. In the capital of Tataria five Dagestan wrestlers, four of them — Nariman Israpilov, Bekhan Goygereev, Mahomed Kurbanaliyev and Abdusalam Gadisov fought — rose by the highest step of a pedestal, Shamil Kudiyamagomedov became the silver prize-winner.

About 200 people with welcome banners and flowers arrived to the airport to meet victors of University games. On the improvised meeting representatives of the ministry of sports of RD, the public of villages and areas addressed to wrestlers with congratulatory speeches, from where a sort athletes, their relatives. Trainers of Russian national team Mairbek Yusupov and Hadzhimurad Magomedov gave a flatter assessment to performance of wrestlers, noted in them the diligence, the shown will and character. According to trainers, all five wrestlers in Kazan once again showed that possess sufficient potential to be fixed on the leading roles in national team.

On behalf of heroes of the occasion Abdusalam Gadisov acted. He expressed gratitude to fellow countrymen for warm welcome, for kind words, having noticed that wrestlers always feel support of the Dagestan fans. Abdusalam also thanked personal instructors and trainers of the national team of Dagestan, and also heads of fund of support of republican team of Sagid Murtazaliyev and Omar Murtuzaliyev who, according to him, render the invaluable help to the Dagestan wrestlers. Gadisov assured gathered that he and his companions will try to make everything that yet time to please fellow countrymen.

Only three days will stay houses victors of University games, and then again will go on collecting. This time they as a part of Russian national team will begin preparation for the September World Cup in Budapest.
