The mayor of Karachayevsk Soltan Semenov is put on the federal wanted list as already many times wasn't on a call on interrogation in investigative authorities. About it reported in Investigative committee on Karachay-Cherkessia.

Let's remind, Semenov was called for evidence on the criminal case raised against it upon inappropriate use of budgetary funds on 19,5 million rubles.

As speak in SKR SU across Karachay-Cherkessia while the consequence doesn't know where Semenov disappears, his mobile is switched off, and security guards of the mayor of Karachayevsk declared that have no information on location of their chief.

According to the investigation, the mayor Karachayevsk Soltan Semenov spent received on repair of roads 19,5 million for other purposes. As militiamen consider, the decision on the redirection of means in November, 2012 was made by City Council according to the written address of the mayor and the chief of financial management.

- Thus, in the fourth quarter 2012 this money according to the decision of the Duma of the Karachay city district, in defiance of the current legislation of the Russian Federation was directed on other purposes, - specified in SKR SU on KChR.

Criminal case against Soltan Semenov is brought under article 285.1 of the criminal code of Russian Federation (an inappropriate expenditure of budgetary funds in especially large size).

Earlier the prosecutor's office of KChR reported that except this money also the funds allocated for modernization of education in Karachayevsk "on the left" left. However, Semenov's supporters declared that it wasn't, and as for means from road fund – that they were redirected on salary payment and from the decision of City Council.

The prosecutor's office also doubted authenticity of the diploma about Soltan Semenova's higher education and sent materials the checks to SKR SU on KChR "for the solution of a question on Semenov's criminal prosecution for a fake of the official document". However the Investigative committee didn't begin to bring criminal case against Semenov, having referred on "lapse of time on this crime".

Meanwhile Soltan Semenova's supporters periodically arrange in Karachayevsk meeting in support of the mayor, declaring that all "charges in its address are groundless, and criminal case opened because of the personal conflict of the mayor to Governor of Karachayevo-Circassia Rasheed Temrezov". Denies all charges and Soltan Semenov.
