In Ternopol region took place traditional tournament

Passions of a high tension stormed on days off, on May 25-26, in the sports hall of comprehensive school No. 2 of Zbarazh where the tenth international youthful tournament on free-style wrestling памятиАлександра the King and Nazariy Boyko took place.

On competitions which traditionally take place at high organizational level, 127 participants from 17 cities of Ukraine and sporting clubs of Poland, Germany, Russia, Lithuania gathered.

Congratulated guests from all Ukraine and abroad during solemn opening of tournament the head of department concerning physical culture and sport of the Ternopol OGA Igor Podgayny, the vice-chairman of the Zbarazhsky district state administration Natalia Zavadenko acting the chairman of the Ternopol regional separation of National Olympic committee Vitaly Ignatenko, the acting head of department of affairs of a family, youth and RGA sports Galina Bubelo, the master of sports, the director of the company "Lukoil" in the Lvov area Igor Yuras, the Honored worker of culture of Ukraine, the master of sports Victor Maryshev.

In Natalia Zavadenko's welcome speech pride that in Zbarazhe thanks to work of trainers Petr and Evgenia Koroli in a sporting sky there are all new and new asterisks sounded. The founder of tournament Peter Korol is convinced that wrestling it is necessary to popularize as also other sports.

- Each school, - Peter Evgenyevich marked, - shall select itself that sport which suits it more, and not just to put emphasis on soccer as it try to do today. Certainly, soccer a fascinating look but why at lessons not to enter to free-style wrestling. After all wrestling is very popular in many countries, including the USA, Iran, Iraq, Syria, Turkey, many others. On the World Cups permanently delegate the wrestlers of 52 states, is the convincing proof of a demand of this sport
