Ivano-Frankovsk expects to receive the international tournament under the auspices of FILA

Such ​​ idea sounded on youthful tournament on the free-style wrestling, devoted to veterans of  wrestling of Prikarpatye. Let's remind, in these output competitions took place in Odessa already for the seventh time. And this year organizers held permanently high level. except teams from many areas of Ukraine on tournament there was a numerous representation from abroad: Russia, Moldova, Slovakia, Belarus, Poland.

The idea of competitions - celebration of veterans. And veterans didn't hide the pleasure to meet with each other, and also to look at young generation which continues today long traditions of wrestling. "The tournament geography so extended that the soul rejoices, - the deserved trainer of Ukraine Khariton Marzaganov speaks. - Those far years we had no such conditions. Carpets were transferred, rooms weren't what to speak about soul after trainings. But now athletes have conditions, there are people who assumed responsibility that wrestling didn't disappear, there are also trainers betrayed to the business. Ivano-Frankovsk of subjects also differs that in the best conditions, athletes showed good results".

Feature of present competitions was that they happened under the slogan "Save Olimpic Wrestling". This movement in support of wrestling as the Olympic look, after all in February the International Olympic committee raised a question of possibility of an exception of  wrestling from the program of Olympic Games.

"We work at this tournament not as quantitative indices, and qualitative, - Edward Proshchuk, the president of regional federation of free-style wrestling speaks. - Athletes of rather high level gathered. We set before ourselves the purpose to bring these competitions to serious international level in this age group. We want to classify this tournament that it took place under the auspices of the International federation of wrestling (FILA). Today Ukrainian Dina Harenko is elected the member of executive committee of the European federation (CELA) therefore we will work together over this purpose. Such status will sharply lift level of our competitions. I can't tell that it will occur next year, but I think that in three years we will make it".
