In the Ulug-Hemsky area republican zone free-style wrestling competitions among young men took place, whose age doesn't exceed 14–15 years (1998-1999 of river), on prizes of the master of sports of the international class of Brawler Biche-oola.

Competitions collected 10 teams in which structures there arrived 186 participants. These are strong teams from the capital of the republic: DYuSSh, RDYuSSh, – boarding schools of the Kyzyl area, Chedi-Ho-lya, Chaa-Holya, Ulug-Hem, Kaa-Hem, Mongun-Taiga, Pius-Hema. According to the secretary of competitions, the master of sports Alexey Shoydun, these competitions became on - to the present a significant event in sports life of the republic. The chairman of administration of the Ulug-Hemsky area Mergen Anay-ool holds the same opinion also:

– Ourselves initiated, having submitted an application for carrying out zone competitions in Shagonara. Also made so that both to participants and the fans who have arrived on tournament, it was comfortable and cozy in our city. It is convinced that competitions on prizes of Brawler Biche-oola strengthen prestige of youthful free-style wrestling in the republic.

And it is valid, all remained are happy with the organization of competitions: food, accommodation conditions. And among the participants acting on a shagonarsky carpet, there were athletes titled, despite early age. In the majority of categories such, already known athletes rose by top of a pedestal. Best of all owners of a carpet and Kyzyl athletes acted. Here that one of winners – Herel Sanchy told after rewarding:

– In my weight category to 42 kg there was the most large number of participants – 26 athletes. Before competitions hoped for a victory, and it turned out. I already have a tournament experience that fine helped with Shagonara. But after all the main conditions of success for any athlete – desire to be engaged in free-style wrestling and diligence.

The pleasure to local fans was brought by representatives of Ulug-Hem, excellent last on a tournament grid to a victory in zone superiority. The director of DYuSSh, the master of sports, the excellent student of physical culture and sport of Russia Kara-ool Chondanov, summing up competitions, I told:

– We pay much attention to selection work. We invite in Shagonar to viewings of young perspective wrestlers from villages and settlements of the area and we give the chance to them to train on educational and training collecting in the regional center, grow together with leading athletes. In it is pledge of future victories.
