On March 23-24 on the basis of DYuSSh-3 passed the international tournament on the Cup of Melitopol on free-style wrestling. the 10th anniversary tournament brought together fighters not only from all Ukraine, but also athletes from Russia, Moldova, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria and Great Britain.

As the chief judge of competitions, the judge of the national category, the deserved trainer of Ukraine told Altai Abdullaev, 250 wrestlers participated in tournament, from which 50 masters of sports, 7 masters of sports of the international class, 1 deserved master of sports, the silver prize-winner of Olympic Games-2012 in London Valery Andreytsev. 14 sets of awards were played.

Competitions were served by representative judicial crew into which 12 judges of the international category and 8 judges of national category entered.

Melitopol on this tournament was represented by pupils of office of free-style wrestling of DYuSSh-1. According to A.Abdullaev, Ivan Mavila who executed the standard of the master of sports became the champion in the weight of 55 kg. The second places in the weight categories were won by Gore Ogannesyan (60 kg), Yury Semakin (66 kg), Vladimir Mishchenko (120 kg). The third place was taken in the weight of 72 kg by Elena Shapovalova. Besides, Dmitry Misyura (60 kg), Denis Karabanov (120 kg) and Nadezhda Legkaya (51 kg) entered into the five of the strongest in the weight categories. Trainers of office of free-style wrestling of DYuSSh-1 prepared Melitopol wrestlers.

Winners and prize-winners were awarded by cups, medals, diplomas and monetary prizes, and trainers of champions are marked out by memorable prizes.

Athletes and trainers from other cities and the countries noted high level of the organization of competitions which controlled for a family, youth and sports, city federation of free-style wrestling, TM "Melitopol Sweet Cherry" (hands. Sergey Minko). Guests of tournament spoke what not each championship of Ukraine brings together so many participants, and such star structure. In 10 years the Cup of Melitopol expanded geography of participants, gathered popularity and scale.
