Action took place on March 7 at the Sochi stadium "Fisht".

The Paralympic national team of Ukraine suited a protest at opening of the Paralympic Games in Sochi. Instead of full team with a flag there was only one person athlete Mikhail Tkachenko, the biathlonist and the skier.

Other part of team simply didn't leave. Thereby the National team of Ukraine showed that protests against actions of Russia towards Ukraine.

"The team risks to receive disqualification, but that less it unanimously supported a protest and didn't leave with a flag", - speaks Damask steels.

"When Tkachenko flew a flag, the stadium scanned "Ukraine, Ukraine". All applauded, but Ukraine didn't stop the boycott", - Egor Maksimov, the producer of Dozhd TV channel reports.

The national team of Ukraine will be represented by 23 athletes in all sports
