On April 5 on a tatami of the Dnepropetrovsk Specialized school of the Olympic reserve No. 6 (Gazety «Pravda" Avenue, 36) the 3rd final stage of Student's League of judo will take place.

It is absolutely new city tournament which appeared at the initiative of Federation of judo of Dnepropetrovsk and her president Mikhail Koshlyak. Analogs of such personal and team tournament in Ukraine while aren't present.

"The main tasks of Student's league of judo – to give the chance to prove not only to already skilled athletes who have caused a stir in serious competitions, but also those students who before arrival in higher education institutions were engaged in wrestling, but couldn't get to composition of sporting clubs and the national teams, - the vice-president of the Dnepropetrovsk city federation of judo Alexander Aleksandrovich Lenkov speaks. – Involvement of such children in Student's league we will create for them motivation persistently to train, increase the sporting skill and to achieve new progress"

The 1st stage of Student's League of judo passed last year-30 of the November, 2nd (winter) took place on February 8, 2014. Representatives of 15 HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS of our city and adjacent Zaporozhye took part in these competitions.

Among participants and leaders of the Dnepropetrovsk judo - the repeated winner and the prize-winner of World Cups on judo, the World champion in sambo Tatyana Savenko, the vice-world champion in judo among cadets Sergey Zverev, the prize-winner of the junior European championship Nikita Dibrin winners of junior European cups Alexander Koshlyak and Grachik Avagyan.

Following the results of the first two rounds by the leader of Student's League of judo there was a command of the Dnepropetrovsk state institute of Physical culture and sport. On the second place of the Dnepropetrovsk financial academy and on the third - Academy of customs service of Ukraine.

Opening of Student's League of judo will take place on Saturday, April 5, в10.00.

The final unit of competitions and rewarding ceremony – unique Cups and special prizes of Federation of judo of Dnepropetrovsk - will take place at 15.00.

We will mark also that the 3rd stage of Student's League of judo will pass within celebration in Ukraine, and around the world the International day of sports for the benefit of development and a pattern (International Day of Sport for Development and Peace). Marked on April 6, it is among the international and world days of the UN. The holiday was founded by the resolution of General Assembly of the United Nations last year. Aside from world, Ukrainian and Dnepropetrovsk judo couldn't stand such event. From April 2 to April 5 in Lutsk will pass the judo Championship of Ukraine among athletes not high 16 years (U16) within celebration of the International day of sports for the benefit of development and the world.
