USTOPIRIYON: "I GOT THE WIDE EXPERIENCE IN EUROPE"

Sunday, 16 March 2014, 10:22
USTOPIRIYON:

The Tajik judoist Komronshokhi Ustopiriyon who has become the best young athlete of 2013 on the "VS" versions – about performance on the world scene and the next plans.

- From January 6 to March 8 you had training in Europe – five training camps and three official competitions: "Grand Slam" in Paris and open European tournaments in Austria and the Czech Republic. How you estimate the preparation?
- Really I spent nearly two months in Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, the Czech Republic. I got wide competitive experience, having won five fights at representatives of Angola, Israel (twice), Estonia, Kazakhstan and I conceded to judoists of South Korea, Japan, Slovakia and Hungary. Weren't less important for me and training fights in camps with the most various on force, equipment and tactics by opponents from all over the world.
In total I carried out 195 fights in Europe and all this was very valuable and important for me!  For the sake of it I also was so much time far from the house.  Thus I will note that for January and February I managed to improve the situation in a world rating of judoists in weight to 90 kg – I moved from the 51st on the 39th place.
-  You the first of the Tajik judoists participated in competitions in the new rules entered since January 1 by the International federation.  Your opinion on it?
- These rules limited a technical and tactical arsenal of judo, especially in full prohibition of attacks belts in a rack are lower. Such restriction impoverishes judo, but it is visible that judo want to make unlike other types of fight (free-style wrestling and sambo). And "the law is severe, but it is the law! ", and I already almost accustomed, especially before competitions received by e-mail the video reference from our national federation for the fastest adaptation.
- What difficulties faced on so long trip?
-  The main problem for me there is an absence on such trips of the trainer with me because of deficiency of financing.  It is necessary most to be both the trainer, and the manager, both the driver, and the cook, and still to fight and most to analyze the wrestling.  Because of high cost of hotels and transport I learned to rent apartments, to rent cars and most to travel about over the European countries.  Also it was very difficult constantly to drive weight and there was no good nutrition for restoration.
- In what countries of Europe of judo it is more popular?
- Most of all judo love in France. During "Grand Slam" there the notice both the special atmosphere, and judoists from this country traditionally are one of world leaders.
- Your plans for the near future?
- First of all, it is important to be restored completely in 7-8 days, then, probably, I will participate in sports meets in honor of a holiday Navruz. After that - the Grand Prix in Turkey at the end of March and educational and training work in Moscow for full April. In May the Sports contest of Tajikistan and "Grand Slam" in Baku. And still I spotted the gym which has been completely equipped with inserts from a kimono in Germany and now I want too most to make in the native club hall in Khojend.
