The head coach of the national team of Georgia on judo Irakli Uznadze called structure on the Tbilisi Grand Prix which will pass on March 21-23 in Sports palace. Traditionally, the country hostess of tournament has the right to expose in each weight category on 4 athletes and, certainly, the mentor of the national team of Georgia as much as possible used this quota.
Uznadze made the list of 29 judoists which will reduce in the next few days to 28 after will make a choice between acting in weight category to 100 kg Georgy Nozadze and Revaz Chikoidze.
As expected, the national team of Georgia will act as the strongest structure. Special interest causes 73 kg in which along with prize-winners ChE Nugzar Tatalashvili and Zebeda Rekhviashvili Lasha Shavdatuashvili, the Olympic champion in 66 kg who tries to be approved in weight category new to will act also.
In the first day of the Grand Prix, on March 21, medal events will be held in weight categories to 60 და 66 kg, the 22nd - in 73 and 81 kg, and the 23rd – in 90, 100 and +100 kg.
The prize fund of the Grand Prix makes 100 thousand dollars.
