The glorified Japanese judoist, the winner of the Olympic Games and the quadruple world champion Yasukhiro Yamasito will be awarded the order Friendship

The relevant Decree was signed by the Russian President Vladimir Putin on February 13, 2014. The well-known Japanese was marked out for a big contribution to strengthening of friendship and cooperation with the Russian Federation, development of scientific and cultural ties.
We will remind that Yamasita is the vice rector of University Tokai, the vice-president of Vseyaponsky federation of judo. He acted as the coauthor of the book "We study judo with Vladimir Putin", the planet let out in much languages, and for many years actively participated in the joint Russian-Japanese projects strengthening the relations of two people.
"Judo for Japan and Russia - the steadiest base for bilateral relationship", - were told more than once by the well-known Japanese athlete. - After all eventually sports help to strengthen the relations and in other spheres: in culture, economy and policy.
