Competitions were devoted to Day of the soldier internationalist and the 25th anniversary of a conclusion of the limited contingent of the Soviet armies from Afghanistan. Tournament took place on February 8 in Oka Sports palace. Ivan Savintsev, head Pushchino: "Today's tournament is devoted to memory of soldiers internationalists, memory of their feat. And officers who will be presented today to you, I think, it is a worthy sample for imitation for you which play sports to be strong both a body, and spirit". Pushchino, Serpukhov, Chekhov, Dmitrov, Fryazino, Ryazan, Moscow, Kazan, St. Petersburg – traditional, already the fourth Memory tournament this year became the most representative for all the history. More than 250 young men and girls gathered in our city in a year of the 25 anniversary from the date of a withdrawal of Soviet troops from Afghanistan on competitions of memory of soldiers internationalists.

Victor Donets, chairman of pushchinsky city office of the All-Russian public organization of veterans "A fighting brotherhood": "It is day of memory of those people who were lost, fulfilling the duty behind boundaries of our homeland. Actually, historians counted that some years after the Great Patriotic War our country anywhere didn't take part. There was Angola, Syria, Egypt, Cuba, Vietnam and so on where we gave international help where there were our people, and they there perished. About it speak in the press a little, about it knows younger generation" a little.

Than this tournament differed from other similar competitions?  All took its course:  construction, the anthem of Russia, wish of sports good luck from Alexey Dolgov, the director of Oka Sports palace - the institution which has become the house for tournament.  Representation of guests of competitions becomes a new stroke of a habitual picture are the officers who are awarded by medals and being gentlemen of awards, these are the pushchinets who have honestly executed the military duty.  Quite so, without telling mentor tone about war, and acquainting with heroes, organizers of tournament decided to carry out an important task of patriotic education of youth.

Because judo is sports which has to help young people to overcome difficulties, including, and in armed forces. The young man has to be able to protect himself and the homeland. And here those skills which they gain, including, and at these competitions, will be useful to children in life, in service in army if someone connects the life with army professionally".

The fitness coach from Kazan Konstantin Ryzhevsky brought on tournament of the son. Speaks when saw on the Internet information on these competitions and on to what they are devoted, at once I decided to go. Konstantin himself was the participant of operations in Afghanistan.

"I consider important this tournament and participation in it, and not only this tournament, and events which are held in memory of the victims who haven't come back from Afghanistan, celebration of people who passed Afghanistan, very important that the young generation knew history, knew where their grandfathers, fathers" served.

And here for representatives of St. Petersburg, besides that they don't belittle value of date with which the tournament is connected, the tournament subject, and more likely its format became defining not.

Konstantin Vorontsov, representative of team "Rubin" (St. Petersburg), father of the participant: "We from Petersburg, are engaged in judo. Competitions for girls it is carried out not so much, unfortunately, to a lesser extent, than for young men therefore we try to discover competitions, at least that they were in the central Russia".

Taisiya Vorontsova, team "Rubin" (St. Petersburg): "Earlier the father was engaged in judo when was small, and here, I too want to be engaged in it".

The Memory tournament went at the same time on three tatamis. Tens duels, one hundred receptions in a day … Wrestling, falling, pain – takes place all an instant, and the participant straightens out again a kimono to rise before the opponent.

"There is a wish for beautiful and fair competition", - about the participation in tournament the representative Pushchino Vadim Artyomov, the winner of last year's competitions so responds. Fights last not for long, here children have to estimate literally in some moments the rival and develop victorious tactics.

Vadim Artyomov, section of judo of Oka Sports palace: "Tactics … reflects in wrestling when you already experienced the rival, you start struggling with him. Also you understand on force – it weaker you, is stronger than you. If it is weaker than you, you think how to deceive him. If it is stronger than you, you too think how to deceive him that he didn't solve your actions".

Vadim Artyomov repeated success of last year. Following the results of competitions it won first place. Tournament was held in 20 weight categories. From 23 participating pushchinets Egor Kuzminov and Alexander Artyomov became winners also. First place among girls was won by Nichole Tseeb, she took the 3rd place in competition with boys.
