In Kazan passed superiority of the Volga federal district

For three days Kazan became the center of judo of the Volga federal district: here superiority among young men and girls till 21 year took place. To the sports capital of Russia there arrived the best teams from 14 regions of the country, all more than 500 athletes took part in competitions.

Fans of judo spent unforgettable days off, enjoying spectacular throws, professional receptions and command matches. Tatarstaners didn't bring the fans: teams of young men and girls were included in the three of leaders.

In the first days of February in a sports complex "Center of Boxing and Table Tennis" passed intense fights, at first in personal offset, then and in the command. 54 highly qualified specialists acted as fair referees. Thanks to their work, and also diligence of organizers of action, competition passed at high level. It was noted by the representative of Federation of judo of the Russian Federation Dmitry Novikov and other guests of honor of competitions.

Finishing wrestling for the first place among young men took place between teams of the Samara region and the Republic of Tatarstan. Children fought "a wall on a wall", that is each athlete from one team entered wrestling with the rival in the weight category.

There began tournament wrestlers of easy categories, and heavyweights finished. Judoists of the Samara region and Tatarstan didn't concede each other. Following the results of a meeting the account was equal — 4:4, but the team of the Samara region won a victory, having outstripped Tatarstaners on points.

Judoists from Tatarstan were the most younger on tournament, but, despite it, they battled on an equal basis with skilled and strong teams. By quantity of medals in an all-team competition juniors of Tatarstan took 1 place.

We congratulate the Samara children on a victory and we thank them for spectacular duels! By the way, earlier Samara judoists also won a victory in a team competition, having got in the final the best of team of Perm Krai – they got "silver".

Judoists from Tatarstan in bright and technical wrestling won worthy "bronze". Fans gave a standing ovation to them.

Guests of honor of action congratulated judoists on a victory: deputy head of department of FSKN of Russia on RT Boris Tetenishchev, deputy head of department of FSIN Russian Federation on RT Marat Raupov, representative of Federation of judo of Russia Dmitry Novikov, head of department of the ministry of youth affairs, sports and RT tourism Raif Vafin, senior judo coach of Volga federal district Alexander Tarasov, and also vice rector of the Kazan power Diamond Ziganshin university. They handed over to athletes cups and medals to athletes, and also the trainers who have brought up champions.

The young men who have taken 1 and 2 places in personal offset, and the girls who have entered the three of leaders, will continue the victorious procession on superiority of Russia which will take place at the beginning of March in Yekaterinburg. From Tatarstan on the All-Russian championship in judo 8 judoists will take part. Here their names:
