In the first competitive day to a tatami there were 168 participants, including 147 juniors fighting in four weight categories

As reports the ministry of ChR of physical culture and sport, in the first day the junior team from the Chechen Republic, the presented 31 athletes showed excellent result. In two weight categories – to 60 and to 66 kg – in the finals there were four athletes of our region. In weight to 66 kg among 29 participants Rasoul Sharipov who has won the final against the fellow countryman Ayuba Setiyev became the winner of superiority. In the most representative weight category – to 66 kg in which 50 athletes fought, Iznaur Abdullaev who has carried out on superiority six victorious fights won, in last of which the team mate Muslim Suleymanov was his rival. The third step of a podium in this weight also was occupied by the pupil of the Chechen school of judo – Amirkhan Ismailov, after two victories lost in a quarterfinal to the owner of a tatami Shamil Dzhaubayev, and in "uteshilovka" overcome one stavropolets and two representatives of Karachay-Cherkessia.

The Chechen judoist Shamil Musayev took "silver" in weight category to 73 kg, having conceded in the final to Dagestani Gamzat Zurgarayev. The circle of prize-winners was closed by Iznovr Tisayev (73 kg) from Chechnya, lost to the same Zurgarayev in fight for an exit in a semi-final. In consolatory tournament Tisayev got the best of the team mate Salambek Sagaipov and Yaqub Tepsayev, and then played Moussa Kodzoyev from Ingushetia.
