As reports youthportal.az with reference to the Italian mass media, the Azerbaijani athletes acted successfully. In youthful (U-18) tournament Hidayat Gurbanov (66 kg) became a winner, Natik Gurbanly (55 kg) won a silver medal, and Mekhti Askerov (50 kg) took bronze.

In tournament of athletes 21 years Natik Gurbanly (55 kg) again aren't more senior took the 2nd place, and Hidayat Geydarov (73 kg) became the 3rd.
