The team of Federation of judo of Volhyn took part in it. And not only took part, but also reaped a quite good medal crop! So, Valentina Shmal and Anna Kukharuk became champions in the weight categories, bronze awards were won by Nikolay Vuy, Maria Denisyuk and Anton Galyuk. The seventh place at these competitions was taken by Anastasia Malinovskaya. Also It should be noted that for the open championship of Belarus the team was prepared by trainers Sikorsky A.A. (Lyuboml) and Ishchuk O. B. (Lutsk).

We will add that 254 athletes took part in tournament. The Volynsk area was represented by 7 young men and 4 girls.

These competitions became the first stage of preparation of a national team of Federation of judo of Volhyn to the Championship of Ukraine among young men and girls which will take place on February 12 - 14 in Lutsk in regional DYuSSh.
