From the point of view of tournaments it is possible to call the beginning of year dead month for judoists. Therefore the majority of teams tries to leave on collecting – someone goes to Japan, others to Korea, and the third prepare for a season in Austria where these days the camp of the European Union of judo is set up. Also it would be quite logical if Shikhalizade and Gasymov spent some weeks together with team where could carry out qualitative sparrings with foreign athletes and work on physics. However Zayzenbakher made the decision not to take with themselves in Tokyo Nidzhat with Elmar though they were one of the stablest last year. In particular, Shikhalizade became the second on "Grand Slam" in Baku and the Grand Prix in Abu Dhabi, and Gasymov who in due time has won superiority of Europe among youth in Yerevan – the third on same "Helmet" and the World Masters tournament in Tyumen. So the decision of the Austrian, to put it mildly, surprises, after all now judoists remained without sparring partners, so, about full preparation for a season out of the question.

Thus, Zayzenbakher took on collecting in Japan Georgian Betkil Shukvani (60 kg) who performed at the Olympic Games in London. Say that the athlete can protect colors of the national team of Azerbaijan, though among easily scales and without that rather internal competition. That there are only bronze prize-winners of the World Cup Orhan Safarov and Ilgar Mushkiyev. It is clear, what Zayzenbakher – the head coach and on it lies responsibility for result, but why to attract in team of visitors of athletes, especially in not problem weight, and to leave thus at home one of leaders of the categories?
