Except the best athlete winners in ten nominations were revealed.

The champion of Europe and the world among young, both the bronze prize-winner ChE also a WCh among adults Geno Petriashvili became the best young athlete. Along with it were candidates for this rankt Beka Gviniashvili who has become this year the champion of Europe and the world among young, the judoist and the fencer Sandro Basaze who has won ChE among athletes till 19 years.

The best Paralympian the silver prize-winner of a WCh rukoborets Besik Lekiashvili won against the swimmer Nikoloz Tvauri and the rock-climber Levan Liparteliani the nomination.

Sambo wrestlers Vakhtang Chidrashvili and Levan Nakhutsrishvili, and also rukoborets Alexander Abutidze were candidates for a rank of the best athlete in not Olympic sports. The ministry the choice stopped on the world champion and the silver prize-winner ChE Chidrashvili.

The rank of the best team of year was won by the national team of Georgia on judo. Irakli Uznadze team this year won in the European championships and the world and gained deserved recognition. Among applicants there were also youthful national teams of Georgia on rugby and soccer till 19 years.

Uznadze who bypassed the rugby coach of the national team of Georgia Milton Heyga and the former basketball coach of the national team of Georgia Igor Kokoshkov was called the best trainer.

Judoists got one more award – 17-year-old Mariam Dzhanashvili won a prize for the best sportswoman of a season. In the same nomination were presented the vice-champion of Europe chess player Salome Melija and world champions in trampolining among athletes till 14 years – Anna Odishvili and Teona Dzhandzhgava. We will remind that Dzhanashvili became the champion of Europe among juniors, and on a WCh and a youth Olympic festival was content, respectively, with silver and bronze medals.
