The tenth GRAND PRIX "VITIAZ" on prizes ZMS Ivan Nifontov and ZTR Igor Votyakov brought together on a tatami s/c "Victory" of young men 2000-2001 in ten weight categories and men "masters of sports" in weight. cat. to 81 kg.

Part in these competitions was taken by more than 200 athletes from the cities of the Siberian and Ural federal districts of Russia, and also judoists of Mongolia, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan participated. International tournament! Results of tournament among men "The masterful weight": 1 place – Kochetov Stepan ("Vitiaz", Barnaul) the 2nd place – Latkin Stanislav ("Dynamo", Biisk) the 3rd place – Bartenev Vadim ("Vitiaz", Surgut) the 3rd place – Alekhovikov Dmitry ("Vitiaz", Barnaul) Besides prizes traditional for tournament and the souvenirs, all prize-winners among "masters of sports" received certificates on awards in currency (euro). Results of the GRAND PRIX "VITIAZ" among young men: For youthful tournament organizers prepared even more prizes. Difference was in a kimono: bronze prize-winners received – a kimono souvenir, and finalists — certificates on the "real" new kimono. Nine of twenty certificates were won by judoists of the Altai territory, including – five pupils of the pedagogical Vitiaz-2 project. Eight certificates were taken away with themselves by children from the Irkutsk region, two more certificates were earned by the Mongolian young men and one of Krasnoyarsk Krai. Winners of tournament among the Altai children: Karayev Ismayil (Biisk), Geyst Sergey (Zarinsk), Platonov Mikhail ("Vitiaz", Barnaul).
