From other types of wrestling judo differs smaller use of physical force when performing receptions and a big variety of the allowed technical actions. Before engaged judo always it is set not only the purpose of physical preparation for wrestling, but also consciousness preparation.

On December 15 passed traditional interregional tournament in KVK "Old City" on judo. Tournament was organized by Federation of judo of the Yaroslavl region. All athletes showed high level of equipment and skill of conducting wrestling. Guests of tournament with pleasure watched spectacular duels. Finalists of competitions were awarded by cups and medals.
