Salamsho Mukhabbatov, the Tajik general and the president of Federation of free-style wrestling of Tajikistan won resignation in the judo World Cup among veterans of sports, having won a rank of the honourable world champion. 

At competitions which took place in Dubai from November 24 to November 26, Salamsho Mukhabbatov won a victory over rivals from France José Manuyel Pazharoro, and also Russians Vladimir Markelov and Radik Mukhametkhanov, and left in final part of competitions.

Salamsho Mukhabbatov won against the Czech wrestler Yaroslav Banszel a final duel and won a title of the world champion among veterans.

Salamsho Mukhabbatov participated in competitions of 10 athletes at the age of 50 - 54 in weight category to 90 kg. In total 780 athletes participated in the World Cup from 56 countries of the world.

General Salamsho Mukhabbatov to whom 53 years, was the commander of opposition during civil war in Tajikistan after which till 2001 I headed oil and gas Committee. Now goes in for sports, has a rank of the master of sports on sambo, judo and free-style wrestling.
