The document was signed by the minister of sports Levan Kipiani, the president of federation of judo of Georgia David Kevzkhishvili and the president of the international federation of judo Marius Vizer.

The parties issued one more important agreement which concerns support of the project of teaching of judo in schools of Georgia. According to the project, the mezhdunarondny federation of judo will supply regions of Georgia with special stock, and trainers who will work in regions, within one year will get monthly wages.

On registration of the memorandum there were acting athletes and veterans.

"I am glad that once again in Georgia. At you one of the strongest schools of judo around the world and it is confirmed by good results which the Georgian athletes show on the international scene. It is good that judo continues to progress in your country. The new project will make judo even more popular. In this case the role of the state is very important and after today's meetings was once again convinced that judo enjoys full support in Georgia. The Grand Prix in Georgia will take place in the first or third week of March. We will know exact date after the international federation will coordinate different organizational details. The best judoists of the world will go to Tbilisi and here the real holiday of judo" will take place – Marius Wiesner declared.

Levan Kipiani thanked the guest for the attention rendered by it to the Georgian judo, and its appreciation and noted that the memorandums signed today are a guarantee of further development of judo in Georgia

Marius Vizer arrived in Tbilisi this morning. Before visit of the ministry of sports it together with the minister and the president of federation met the prime minister of Georgia. And later he will hold a meeting with the managing director of fund of co-investment of Georgia Tsotne Ebralidze.

During the season pass 5 tournaments of the Grand Prix the champion's title on which brings to the athlete of 300 rating points, that is exactly three times are more, than the winner taking place in previous years in Tbilisi of the international tournament received. And silver and bronze prize-winners receive, respectively, 180 and 120 points. More prestigious than tournaments of the Grand Prix are only Gran-Slem and World Masters.
