In Kiev honored memory of Alexander Prosovskyy

In a track and field athletics arena of capital RVUFK took place the II All-Ukrainian team tournament on judo of memory of Alexander Prosovskyy .

For awards of competitions judoists 1995-97 fought. Judoists took part in team competitions "a wall on a wall" from TSSDYUSHOR MONU (Kiev), DYuSSh "Young Spartacist" (Kiev) and commands of the Zaporozhye and Donetsk areas.
In circle tournament representatives TSSDYUSHOR of MONU (Kiev) became strongest. Anna Kashtanovoy and Vitaly Samotuga's wards won victories in all three duels. Commands DYuSSh "Young Spartacist", Donetsk and Zaporozhye areas gained on one victory and the owner of the second place should be determined by total quantity of victories in fights at each command.
Representatives of Donbass, with the score 5:2, won a team of the Zaporozhye area and conceded 3:4 - DYuSSh "Young Spartacist" appeared more successful. Thus "Spartacists", lost to 3:4 judoists from Zaporozhye and separated with them the third place.
Composition of winners of tournament - the TSSDYUSHOR MONU commands (Kiev):
55 kg - Yaroslav Skopnenko, 60 kg - Bogdan Yadov, 66 kg - Alexander Makukh, Sergey Novitsky, 73 kg - Artem Homula, Pavel Panfilov, 81 kg - Victor Makukh, 90 kg - Anton Savitsky, 90 kg - Leonid Gasyuk.
The deserved coach of Ukraine, the master of sports of the USSR on judo and sambo, the judge of all-Union category Alexander Prosovsky stood at the origins of judo development in independent Ukraine. In 1991, after creation of national federation of judo, Alexander Petrovitch held a post of the secretary general of FDU. For 1992-93 headed the man's national team of Ukraine. From 1996 to 2008 worked as the director of the Kiev TsSDYuShOR of types of single combats of MON of Ukraine, also for many years entered into executive committee of National federation of judo.
Alexander Prosovsky was awarded by a rank "The honored worker of science and education of Ukraine", the diploma of the Supreme Council of Ukraine and the medal "Excellent Student of Formation of Ukraine".
Alexander Petrovitch Prosovsky died on October 19, 2011, on the 64th year of life, after a continuous illness.
