Came to observe fight of young athletes and guests of honor: the judge of the Olympic category, the state judo coach of the national team of Ukraine Sergey Gayday, and also the legendary Ukrainian judoist who has won the first Olympic bronze medal for Ukraine on Games in Sydney in 2000 Ruslan Mashurenko.

At opening ceremony of competitions Ruslan Mashurenko, addressing to beginning athletes, I noted that "Persistence" became the motto of this World day of judo: "It is very important to judoists to develop this trait of character because only the one who persistently follows the dream, is a lot of and persistently trains, as a result reaches the most high goal! ", - the former athlete, and nowadays the vice-president of Federation of judo of Ukraine told.

Champions and prize-winners of the Kiev tournament, the judo dated to the World day, received medals, diplomas and valuable presents.
