On October 12-13, Minsk (Belarus)

From October 12 to October 13 in Minsk Sports palace came to the end the open continental cup on judo amongmen and women of "European open M&W" .

For a rank of the best 210 athletes from 31 countries fought. In total 14 sets of awards in 7 weight categories among men and 7 weight categories among women were played.

The Ukrainian national team showed excellent wrestling and took the 3rd place in an all-team competition, having filled up a portfolio of awards of the country on 11 medals. The man's national team in an all-team competition showed the best result and took 1 places, the female national team of Ukraine - the 3rd place.

In the first day of a continental cup the Ukrainian national team won at once two gold medals. The first gold - Nikolay Saenko (60 kg, Dnepropetrovsk). Nikolay beat rivals from Azerbaijan, Belarus, Hungary, the Netherlands and, having reached the final, continued wrestling against our second athlete - Ashotom Balabekyan (60 kg, Zaporozhye). By results of wrestling at Saenko - a gold medal, and at Balabekyan - silver. Maria Chernyak (48 kg, Zaporozhye) pulled out a victory at competitors from Romania and Germany ипринеслаthe second gold to Ukraine.

Medals on a continental cup won Serebrennye: Kirill Melnichenko (66 kg, Kharkov), Efanov Ivan (81 kg, Sevastopol), Berezhnaya Dmitry (100 kg, the Kiev Region - Romna), the Anchor buoy Maria (52 kg, Chernigov).

Grigorenko Denis (81 kg, Donetsk), the Mole Marina (48 kg, Zaporozhye), Dzhabrailov Tatyana (48kg, Donetsk), Levitsky Tatyana (52 kg, Kiev) - brought to our national team bronze medals of a cup.
