According to the decree of the president, S. Tatarenko received an award "for a special personal contribution to development of physical culture and sport of Ukraine, for achievement of high sporting results and long-term professional activity".

- It is a well-deserved reward, judging by results of our youth and, first of all, of course, to operation of a trainer's staff. Thank you, health, forces, desire further to achieve such results, - D. Shchepetkov congratulated.

- I work more than 40 years as the trainer. There are at us very big successes on sambo and judo at world and European competitions, - marked S. Tatarenko.

He added that good results in sports managed to achieve, including, thanks to financial support which was given by the previous mayors and some deputies:   thanks to their financing athletes had opportunity to go on the European championships and a pattern.
