80 participants acted in the championship of the Crimea among men and women on judo.

Competitions on Japanese martial art took place in Simferopol on October 5 and brought together athletes from ten cities and peninsula areas. About it to the correspondent of "The center of journalistic investigations" reported in organizing committee of tournament.

As organizers specified, "men competed in ten weight categories, and women – in nine. Each wrestling proceeded five minutes. Results of the championship were brought in personal offset. Among participants there were also skilled judoists – champions and prize-winners of Ukraine, stages of Cups of Europe and the world. Among them simferopolets Tigran Kazaryan and Alexey Avdeev".

Most successfully athletes from Simferopol acted. They won more gold medals, than their rivals. At men champions of the Crimea in the weight categories became Vadim Gavrilov, Alexander Ermakov, Alexander Turovsky, Ruslan Holodov, Oleg Smykun, Sergey Suleymanov, Roman Mudzhiri, Alexey Avdeev and Anton Drachev. Among women the first places took Olga Sarayeva, Anastas Golovin, Alexander Eskov, Olga Mironyuk, Alla Kalashnikov, Ilona Biresh, Elena Shapovalova.

"This fall of leading judoists of the Crimea expects some more responsible starts — organizers of the championship of the Autonomy told. – In Kharkov the championship of Ukraine, and in Donetsk – Open absolute national championship has to take place. Let's hope, as our athletes will make a speech at these tournaments adequately and productively".
