The judo World Cup in Brazil came to the end with the anthem of Georgia. Arrived to Rio de Janeiro in the rank of the champion of Europe in command superiority, the national team of Georgia showed the force to the whole world.

The command trained by Irakly Uznadze for ways to the ending held three meetings and all won surely. And in decisive, dramatic fight, I could win against Russia, lagging behind after the first two fights 0:2. The gold point was put by Adam Okruashvili, having caught on deduction of the repeated world champion and Europe Alexander Mikhaylin.

16 national teams participated in competition. In difference from similar tournaments of last years, this time trainers completed teams generally with the first numbers.

The national team of Georgia obviously wasn't lucky with lot. In 1/8 endings it had to resist to one of favourites, France. In Lash Shavdatuashvili's first fight (66 kg) I lost to David Lyarosu, having fallen on yuko and vazari and without having managed заработь any assessment.

In a quarterfinal the Georgian five resisted to Mongols. The winner and in this case came to light after the first four fights.

Uznadze made to structure two changes - Shavdatuashvili replaced with Amiran Papinashvili, and instead of Tatalashvili delivered to Zebed Rekhviashvili.

Mongols won the first fight - Tumurkhuleg Davaadorzh overcame Papinashvili thanks to one prevention. Rekhviashvili evened up scores, having earned against the titled Tsagaanbaatar Hashbaatara 2 vazari in three minutes. Chrikishvili (81 kg) won against Niam of Ochir of Sainzhargal on шидо 2:1. And Liparteliani (90 kg) won a flawless victory over Tsogtgerel Hutagom, having brought to the national team the permit in a semi-final. Okruashvili also finished ippony the fight against Naidan Tuvshinbayar.

In a semi-final the road of the national team of Georgia was crossed with a tournament way of Japan. However founders of judo unexpectedly stumbled in a quarterfinal and our judoists had to argue with Uzbeks.

As well as in the previous circles, in the first weight again conceded fight – Shavdatuashvili on the second minute of a duel against Rishod Sobirov fell on vazari, and soon got and on иппон. The account made even Tatalashvili (73 kg), having earned yuko against Mirali Sharipov in an extra time. Chrikishvili (81 kg) was quit with Yakhio Imamov in 2 minutes - having at first earned vazari, and at the end of the second minute an effective throw having defeated him. Liparteliani (90 kg) also on the second minute caught Erkin Doniyorova on deduction and removed the national team in the ending. Okruashvili in next nothing to decisive fight on the first minute finished with Said Kurbanov.

Russians got easier grid and, respectively, they reached the ending without special problems, having won with the "dry" score 5:0 against Colombians and Cubans, and having surely won against South Korea 4:1.

The ending began Shavdatuashvili and Alim Gadanova's fight. The Georgian Olympic champion and the champion of Europe and couldn't reveal this time the opportunities, and at the end of fight fell on yuko and vazari. The general provision even more became complicated after Rekhviashvili lost Murada Kodzokova. And after all before roky reception the Georgian judoist owned huge advantage, conducting in the account on vazari and two yuko. And in one episode to a flawless victory deduction it didn't have 4 seconds.

Russians already anticipating a victory were calmed a little by Chrikishvili, having won against Sirazhudin Magomedov according to preventions 2:1. One шидо decided destiny and Varlam Liparteliani and Kirill Denisov's oppositions, fortunately - and this time in our advantage.

And for gold two heavyweights had to battle - to Okruashvili and Mikhaylina, and the Georgian judoist already for the second time overcame the titled rival in the World Cup in Brazil. To the middle of fight of Okruashvili won according to preventions, however actively advanced to the attack and, having managed to transfer the tired rival to orchestra seats, without problems held it to the victorious.

The national team of Georgia won 3:2 and ascended to the highest step of a pedestal.

Bronze medals were won by Japan and Uzbekistan. In female team tournament by champions there were the Japanese who have won the ending a braziliyanok 3:2. The third place was taken by Cuba and France.
