Development of children's and youthful sports in our city — one of the priority directions of work of administration of Velikie Luki.

Planned sports complex for preparation of athletes martial artists of the highest category — it first of all additional opportunities for young residents of Velikiye Luki.  Because children since Yakordoshkolnogo of age here will be engaged.

The initiator and the ideological inspirer of the project is Ruslan Gasymov the deserved master of sports, the champion of Europe on judo, the owner of a World Cup on judo.  Ruslan considers that in Velikie Luki is much sports gifted children, there is DYuSSh, there is also a higher educational institution where they can get a profile education.  The base in the conditions of which it will be possible to train athletes of the highest category has to become logical continuation.

The organizer of this project, Vladimir Vladimirov, the resident of Velikiye Luki, the list of its sports victories can be an example for beginning judoists.  He considers that for sporting achievements there isn't enough talent and ambitions of the athlete:  "The budget not each family is able to afford to send the teenager of 14-15 years to other city for continuation of sports career.  It is necessary to understand that for trainings the hall with a tatami isn't enough.  The strong trainer's structure, opportunity to visit master classes and seminars at the titled wrestlers, a gym, a massage office, locker rooms, a dining room with correctly picked up menu, a sauna — such list not a whim, is pledge of successful speeches of athletes at competitions.  Well, and all listed also will provide a sports complex which is planned to construct on Botvin Street".

Sports activities — it is a younger generation healthy lifestyle, alternative to thoughtless pastime and addictions.

Ruslan Gasymov:  "Sports have to become fashionable.  That teenagers were proud not of the latest gadgets, and the victories and achievements.  And to be able to stand for itself important for each boy.  It is even better if sports become tradition, family tradition.  Sports allow to realize the ambitions, correctly to realize, with advantage for society.  After all medals, ranks and titles first of all serious work, work on, not only physical.  It and work on character.  Before you will win against the rival, you should win many times a victory over, the laziness, the fears".

Judo and sambo types of single combats popular in our city, and a sports complex — is opportunity to grow up champions from "zero" and chance for talented children who only begin today the road in sports.
