Yesterday in Broadcasting Company of "Aktau" start was given to the international tournament on judo by memory of the honored worker of Mangistausky area  Turar Zholdybayev. It actively supported the sports organizations, made a huge contribution to development of this sport.

"Judo is one of the widespread sports, having big and nice history. Wrestlers judoists in persistent and difficult fight prove the advantage, showing the skill based on long trainings and right tactics. And only the best athletes in persistent duels get a victory in fights on a carpet. The real international tournament is urged to reveal the strongest athletes, masters of wrestling. It will promote still bigger public awareness of judo as sport, to attraction of our youth to sports activities, and as a whole to promote development and familiarizing of young generation with a healthy and active way of life", –emphasized at tournament opening the deputy akima in Mangistausky area Halila Nurgaliyeva .

In total during carrying out competitions from August 18 to August 19 to a carpet there are about 250 athletes. Among them great number of champions of Asia and Republic of Kazakhstan.

"There are tens sports sections uniting people. One of such groups is the Mangistausky federation of judo which holds events for identification and advance of talented youth and its support in various republican and international competitions. The purpose of competitions - promotion of a healthy lifestyle, friendship and patriotism and I am glad that these purposes coincide with the purposes of our consortium on support of local communities", the regional director of NKOK Rustem Ilyasov noted at opening ceremony of competitions.

The begun competitions on a carpet take place in 16 weight categories among 24 teams from all regions of Kazakhstan, and also neighboring countries - Russia, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijan.
