According to the center which was present at opening of the mayor of Sochi Anatoly Pakhomov, in the capital of the Olympic games-2014 already openly 26 sports schools at which it is possible to be engaged more than 70 sports. "The recent sotsissledovaniye showed that in our city of 60 percent of children aged from 7 till 16 years go in for sports. The number of the adult inhabitants who are interested in an active way of life, exceeded 62 percent", - the mayor noted.

For more than 40-year period of work of the educational center "Sambo-70" 14 deserved masters of sports, 78 masters of sports of the international class, more than 500 masters of sports were trained. Pupils of "Sambo-70" became prize-winners of Olympic Games, 35 times - world champions in sambo, boxing, sumo, judo, gymnastics, karate, sports dances and other sports three times.

Besides representatives of Russian national team, in the international tournament on fighting sambo will take part спорстмены from Ukraine, Bulgaria, Kazakhstan, South Africa and other foreign states. The previous three years the president of Russia Vladimir Putin - the known admirer of martial arts became the guest of honor of tournament steadily.
