530 athletes (314 young men and 216 girls) took part in competitions 1996-98 year of birth from 77 countries of the world, from all 5 continents.

The Ukrainian national team, as a part of 15 judoists (10 young men and 5 girls), adequately provided the country on tournament and won one silver medal, one bronze medal, the two 5th places and the one seventh. In a team competition Ukraine took the 8th place on young men, the 14th place on girls. In an all-team competition (young men and girls) Ukraine on the 12th place.

The World Cup in Miami, was a final stage of selection of athletes on summer Junior Olympic Games which will take place in August, 2014 in China.

We remind that only two representatives of the country will be able to participate in summer Junior Olympic Games on judo – one young man and one girl.

Today, on August 12, on the Olympic basis "Concha Zaspa" will take place at 15:00 trainer's council on which the composition of a national team of Ukraine for involvement in the judo World Cup among men and women in Rio De Janeiro (Brazil) will be defined from August 26 to September 1.
