In a sports sky of Ossetia all new and new stars every year are lit. One of such asterisks belongs to judoist Dynamo member Stanislav SEMENOV who already achieved the very many on a tatami.

Stanislav was born and grew in Vladikavkaz, in a simple working family. At teenage age was fond of judo.

– I studied in the eighth grade when mother insistently advised to go in for sports. Strangely enough, I advised judo. Obeyed it, and meanwhile any regrets I don't test, – Stanislav remembers.

– When my pupils speak at competitions, – the trainer WOW FSO "Dynamo" RSO-Alania Edward Dzutsev being the instructor of Stanislav Semenov tells, – on my face it shouldn't be noticeable excitements, after all having seen it, they too will start worrying. It is necessary most coolly and to tell me quietly: "Try to be relaxed, present that you are on training. Make everything that you can, and at you it will be obligatory a medal". Today the most titled, leading judoist of the republic Stanislav Semenov. When it I adjust, I speak: "You will be able to make it. Fight as on trainings. Most coolly".

On July 20-21 the master of sports Stanislav Semenov being the pupil of Club of judo and sambo of North Ossetian "Dynamo", created at the initiative of the Minister of Internal Affairs RSO-Alania Arthur Akhmetkhanov, made a speech in Moscow at the international tournament on judo "Grand Slam" in weight category to 81 kg. For the second day of competitions to the regalia Stanislav added "Grand Slam" bronze. It reached a quarterfinal where only "yuko" conceded to the leader of a world rating to Brazilian Penalber. And in wrestling for the third place surely I won our compatriot Arsene Pshmakhov.

"I participate for the first time in "Grand Slam" and is happy that at once could win "bronze", – Stanislav Semenov after rewarding admitted. – At home it is always pleasant to act. Frankly speaking, already on a course of tournament I understood that I will be able to fight for medals. The heaviest fight for me I was quarterfinal which I lost. For the third place too it is impossible to call a duel simple, but it was convenient to me to struggle with Arsene. After all we together train and well we know each other".

In the general offset Russia took the third place after Brazilians and Germans. Tournament in Moscow became the last large start of the international calendar before the August World Cup in Rio de Janeiro.

– Thanks to so successful performance on the Grand Slam tournament, – Edward Dzutsev speaks, – Stanislav was fixed in Russian national team and entered into its main structure. At present the athlete is on collecting in Adler and prepares for future competitions.

Since January, 2011 Stanislav Semenov served in OMON of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of North Ossetia, and from now on it is under patronage of the chief of police Kazbek Bekmurzova. In December, after demobilization from internal troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, Stanislav plans to return again on service to OMON of the Ministry of Internal Affairs on RSO-Alania. By the way, soon his big brother Vyacheslav, the candidate for the master of sports on judo becomes the wrestler of this division also.
